About the Bride and Groom:

Chelsea Fontaine was born and raised in Williston, Vermont. As a little girl she was energetic with a head of curls. When she wasn't escaping her diaper and running around bare-bottomed she was playing dress-up with her cousin Sienna. The two were inseparable as they played on the family farm. Chelsea was the youngest of three children, which made her quite sassy. After high school, her father was hired at a company in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Chelsea eventually decided to follow her family to Albuquerque and attend college at the local university.

James Rushad Gros was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His parents would describe him as "a bit special - the type of child that would rather play with a pile of rocks than the newest toy on the market." He was quiet and shy, but determined, a middle child that would follow his older brother Joe into trouble. He would spend hours a day drawing next door at his Grandma's house. This would lead to a career as a web developer and illustrator. After college, he went to work for a company in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

As it turns out Chelsea and James ended up working together, on opposite sides of a large building. He would see her walking the halls and quickly developed a bit of a crush. His friends teased him, saying he was like Charlie Brown and Chelsea was the little red-haired girl. After some encouragement and peer pressure, James asked Chelsea out, but she nicely turned him down. This did not discourage James. He decided to ask her out often, sometimes suggesting that they ditch work and go to the Dinosaur Museum. She would laugh at him and quickly realized they had something in common, they were both out of their minds. In March of 2007, the seemingly 15th time James asked, Chelsea accepted a date. They are to be married June 6, 2009, he only had to ask once.
